Camps Bay School Reunion 2001

The 180 past pupils who attended the first Camps Bay School “old timers” reunion in 1996 will need no reminding of the excitement and nostalgia generated by the event. Quite a few tears were shed as old friends met again, in some cases after 40+ years. It was unforgettable!

In fact everyone enjoyed the get-together so much that there were immediate calls for another one. Nearly 5 years have passed already, but at long last the next reunion has been scheduled.

When:	Saturday, 21st April 2001, from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm
Where:	The Rotunda, The Bay Hotel, Camps Bay
What:	Brunch – (a cash bar will operate until 3.00 pm)
Who:	All Camps Bay School former pupils (no spouses) who started school in or before 1962. (The youngest eligible class will be Sub-A 1962 - Matric 1973)
Cost:	R65.00 per person

It is always a pleasure meeting old classmates again so to make this reunion an even bigger success than the last one please do everything you can to spread the word and ensure that your old friends will be there on the day too.

Tickets

You can purchase tickets from:

• Herbert Real Estate (the old Lambert's Café), Central Parade Building, Camps Bay Drive, Camps Bay. Weekdays from 8.30am – 5.00pm and Saturdays from 9.00am – 12 Noon.

• Nel Latimer on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.00am – 12 Noon at the Sea Point Congregational Church office, Cnr Marais Road and Main Road, Sea Point (entrance via the double glass doors in Marais Road).

• Send a crossed cheque to Camps Bay School Reunion, c/o Nel Latimer, PO Box 276, Sea Point, 8060. Please make it payable to Camps Bay School Reunion. Don't forget to print your name (ladies please also quote your maiden name), address, telephone number, and your Sub-A year on the back of the cheque. Please collect your ticket at the door on 21^st April.

• Deposit directly into the following bank account and a ticket will be issued in your name and held for you to collect at the door on 21^st April.
  

Notes

Closing date for tickets is Tuesday, 17^th April.

If you have to work on Saturday, 21^st April, or are involved in religious services, but would still like to attend for a while, please contact Nel (see below for details).

If you are not able to come and would like to send a message to your classmates, let Nel have your input well before the 21^st April, and consider including a photograph.

Please bring along any old school photographs or Camps Bay memorabilia that would be of general interest.

Please do not e-mail scanned photographs to Nel or Pam.
