"Old Girls" meet in May 1995
The pictured group of "Forty Something"
ladies met for coffee at The Bay in May 1995. They were overwhelmed
to see one another again after so many years, and word of their
meeting quickly spread. This photograph was published in the
Atlantic Sun and the level of interest it generated was such that a
large scale reunion was planned. A year later, in May 1996,
approximately 180 former pupils of Camps Bay School attended a
formal, and very nostalgic, event at The Rotunda. Since then, two
more big reunions have been held in Camps Bay, one at The Rotunda
in April 2001 and the most recent at the Camps Bay Bowling Club in
April 2006.
